Rohini Sharma Joshi is a long-standing passionate advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion. Now an equality consultant and is part -time Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Age Scotland. Rohini has worked in the housing sector for over thirty years and led and managed an award-winning Equality Programme with projects and initiatives which are recognized as examples of Good Practice.

She participated in many equality advisory committees and operated at a strategic level, engaging regularly and effectively with government representatives and other bodies with a remit on equality and diversity issues.

She was awarded the “Robina Goodlad Woman Achievers in Housing Award” in 2012 and “Outstanding Contribution to Scottish Society” by the Scottish Asian Woman Association in 2013.She was recognised for her work in the Queens New Years Honours List and awarded an OBE for promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in 2022.
