Three days Holiday Web Design Boot Camp for Kids
Designed especially for the kids, here at British Youth International college, we provide an excellent, high quality web design boot camp over the school holidays.
This course has been designed to provide fun and be a door to opening a child’ creativity during their vacations. The web design course has been an increasingly popular choice among our youngsters so far whilst they’ve been learning computing.
We help teach children how to build their own website, we also help them understand how to build a website through a variety of technologies and then how to upload it onto the web. We also teach children how to understand the importance of web security and storage in relation to web development.

Design Your Website using WordPress – Part 1

- Using WordPress with Dreamweaver or other text editors
- WP web hosting & domain names
- Server Installation
- Settings & Testing
- Search Engine friendly clean URLs
- User Access & Controls
- Managing themes
- Creating new posts with contents.
- Manage your blog
- Creating new pages with contents.
- Adding audio and video
- Choosing & using top 10 WordPress plugins
- Adding social media to your pages and blogs
- Linking with facebook business pages, facebook like and sharing
Day 2
Design Your Website using WordPress – Part 2
- Tweeter and facebook feeds etc
- Adding sliders of recent posts, images, testimonials, reviews etc.
- Creating child themes
- Editing CSS
- Creating template pages
- Creating a website from a predefined theme
- WordPress Widgets installation
- Creating Menus
- Contact form and spam killer

More of our web design boot camp includes letting children use different programming languages to develop their website design in the front end and back end of web development and we let kids work on their project live. This full interaction helps children learn much more effectively and easily.
